Ryan Crouser was born to his parents, Mitch Coruser and Lisa Crouser. His father, Mitch, is a former discus thrower. He even joined the 1984 Olympics on the USA’s alternate team.
His uncle is retired Javelin thrower Brian Crouser, who competed in two Olympics. Similarly, his other uncle, Dean Crouser, used to be both the discus thrower and shot putter. Furthermore, Crouser’s cousins named Sam and Haley, are also javelin throwers.
Ryan Crouser is originally from Portland, Oregon. He studied at Sam Barlow High School in the state along with Sam.
However, after high school, Ryan decided to move to Texas to attend the University of Texas.
