Alex Mcleish Illness And Health Update; What Happened To Scottish Football Manager?

On January 21, 1959, McLeish was born in Glasgow’s Duke Street Hospital to shipyard workers Alex and Jean. Angela and Lan are his younger siblings.

After living in the city’s Parkhead and Kinning Park neighborhoods, the family relocated to Barrhead, Renfrewshire, when McLeish was primary school. Alex has spoken out about his two sons, who are battling a disease called colitis.

He was married to Jill McLish, but the couple got a divorce after giving birth to their two sons. Jon, 40, and Jamie, 36, have ulcerative colitis, a life-altering digestive ailment affecting former Scotland midfielder Darren Fletcher.

He spoke about his sons and his delight in their accomplishments despite suffering from Crohn’s and Colitis. He became an ambassador for the Catherine McEwan Foundation, a charity that aids individuals living with debilitating ailments.
